Appearance - Deep purple with violet hues and a brilliant clarity.

Nose - Intense aromas of dense mulberry, licorice and plum pudding overlaid with toasty oak derived vanilla.

Palate - The style is medium to full bodied and complex, with oak in balance with the fruit. An intense palate, showing a generous array of dark berry, mulberry and plum fruit flavours. Well integrated oak adds complexity with appealing sweet cedar, cloves and vanilla flavours in support of the fruit. Soft acid and rich, mouth coating tannins complete the structure, which complement the delicious berry fruit finish.
